LAGOS EXTEND OKODA BAN TO MORE LGA & LCDA IN THE STATE

The Lagos State Government has extended Okada ban to four more Local Government Areas and five Local Council Development Areas(LCDAs). Commissioner for Transport, Dr Frederic Oladeinde confirmed the development, noting the decision was approved after a review of the earlier ban on commercial motorcycles operation in six local councils; Oshodi-Isolo, Shomolu and Mushin. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered full enforcement from September 1, 2022.

In May, he had announced indefinite and total that the ban operation of commercial motorcycles on highways and six local governments and nine LCDAs. Others are: Ikosi-Isherri LCDA, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Isolo LCDA, Bariga LCDA, and Odi-Olowo LCDA.
