IWD 2023: “Empower Women and Girls with Digital Innovation to Secure Property Rights” – CWULP
The Center for Women Underprivileged and Landed Properties (CWULP) has called for greater action to empower women and girls through digital innovation to secure property rights.
Speaking through a statement commemorating the International Women’s Day 2023 themed “Digital Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality” the CWULP CEO Tpl. Mariam Ann Ologun FNITP, observed the vital role that technology can play in advancing gender equality and promoting economic and social empowerment for women.
“As we mark International Women’s Day 2023, we must take urgent action to promote secure property rights for women and girls,” said CWULP CEO Tpl. Mariam Ann Ologun FNITP. “By leveraging digital innovation and technology, we can bridge the gender digital divide and enable women and girls to exercise their property rights and become financially independent.”
CWULP is committed to promoting secure property rights for women and girls, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, through legal advocacy, policy reform, and awareness-raising campaigns. The organization is urging governments, civil society, and the private sector to join them in this effort and work together to create a more equitable and just world for all.
