Gensler Releases New Renderings for Epic Offices

Gensler has revealed new renderings for the 15-story Epic office tower in Hollywood. The 230-foot-tall complex will span 300,000 square feet along Sunset Boulevard behind the Icon tower, which is leased to Netflix. The tower is under development as a sister project to Hudson Pacific Properties’ $150 million expansion of the Sunset Bronson Studios.

The ground floor will be wrapped with retail before it rises into a staggered structure to ensure a more formal silhouette. Clad with floor-to-ceiling, square-shaped glass panels, each section of the tower will offset the other and feature divided light window assemblies. Offices will be designed with unfinished concrete floors and a grid of square concrete columns. The multilevel offices will also be equipped with outdoor terraces, which will be punctuated with varied seating configurations and greenery.

The project will strive for LEED Gold certification, and open equipped with electric car charging stations, bike storage, showers, and lockers.
