Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, the Minister of Power, has said the 40MW Dadinkowa Power project in Gombe State would soon receive FG intervention.
Austin Asoluka, the Deputy Director Press, in the ministry, who made this known in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, also added that the Minister would study relevant papers pertaining to the Power projects and make appropriate recommendations for the completion of the project.
He stated this on Monday, when the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya paid him a courtesy visit, in his office.
The Minister, who appreciated the Governor for taking his time off to see him, and congratulate him on his elevation from Minister of State, Works and Housing to Substantive Minister of Power of the Federal Republic, described the visit as brotherly and friendly.
Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor of Gombe, said he was in Abuja to congratulate his brother and friend, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu on his new appointment as a Minister of Power.
He added that it was an opportunity to brief the Minister on the position or state of the 40MW Dadinkowa Power project and other hydropower projects in Gombe State that needed FG intervention.
